Jordan Clinches SWAC Esports Championship Three-Peat
This weekend, Junior finance major Jaeveon Jordan won the 2024 SWAC Esports Championship for the third year in a row. Jordan brought the title back to The Hill by defeating Adriel Armstrong (Grambling) to earn $1,500 in scholarship funds.
Living up to his last name, Jordan is securing GOAT status in the SWAC Esports ecosystem with three championships in the 4 years that the conference has sponsored its Esports league. Jordan claimed the 2022 SWAC Esports NBA 2K22 Championship as a freshman. Last year, he won the 2023 SWAC Championship for Madden 23. This year he clinched a 3-peat with another SWAC Madden trophy.
