California has been selected by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to participate in the Transforming Maternal Health Model, which aims to improve maternal health outcomes for beneficiaries enrolled in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program, reduce disparities, and reduce overall program expenditures.
