Hartselle police said a 72-year-old man has been arrested for possessing child sexual abuse material.
According to a news release, Roy Wayne Goodwin, 72, of Hartselle, was arrested Thursday.
He faces five counts for possession of obscene matter depicting persons under the age of 17.
The arrest came after a complaint reported back in August of last year.
Investigators sought a search warrant to Goodwin’s residence, where items seized were determined to be “child sexual abuse material.”
Goodwin was transported to the Morgan County Jail, and released on $375,000 bond.
